EY presented Yerkin Tashev the Entrepreneur of the the Year Award

Yerkin Tatishev was selected Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the leading business company Ernst & Young. His leadership and actions in the face of COVID-19 have been awed by the judges of one of the most important competitions in the world.

The contest was open to all famous Kazakhstani business people. Kusto Group's founder was able to be among 21 entrepreneurs from the country who made it to the final.

All of them received an independent assessment and recognition of their achievements by juries that were authorized and constituted of Kazakhstan and international business circles.

Kusto Group is not addressing only the Covid-19 Pandemic. Kazakhstan faces serious water shortages in Kazakhstan.

In the end, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group as well as the Government of Kazakhstan formed a partnership with Valmont Industries, USA. They plan to develop 1000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan in conjunction.

Other provisions include the installation of innovative irrigation systems for farms as well as a program to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine was instrumental in making every donation to Kusto Group possible. They were able to help during a time of extreme need due to their entrepreneurial spirit.

It has been a key strength of Ernst & Young since more than 20 years. The firm has always been committed to supporting entrepreneurs throughout its existence. In the aftermath of the Pandemic, EY has sought to help entrepreneurs continue developing their businesses while sharing their experiences.

All national finalists are eligible for the Entrepreneur of Year competition. The finals will take place in Monaco in June. The National winner of the Entrepreneur of Year competition to compete against the most successful entrepreneurs from around the world.

There have been over 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan that have participated in the contest. Six entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have been crowned world champions at Monte Carlo.

Nurlan Magulov, an Entrepreneur of the year winner in the past, made the final decision of naming Tatishev as the winner. The panel of judges comprised representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
